Tall & Skinny w/ a big head

Austin had his one year check up today. He's doing fantastic. 21 lbs, 11 oz. He's in the 30% percentile for weight (right where he's been pretty much since birth, aside from that spell where he spit up everything he ate and didn't grow) but he is in the 90% percentile for height and 75th for head circumference. Which is why we have such a hard time getting his t-shirts on and off!

We have some great video of Lily playing baseball in the back yard, but we're having a hard time getting it uploaded. Soon, we promise!

I've had an eventful month!

Sorry I haven't written in so long, but the last month has been very very busy! My silly mommy and daddy forgot my soccer ball in the hotel in Kansas City, so they took me to toys-r-us and bought me a new one, along with some very fun new outside toys.

There was a neighboorhood yard sale and we got a very cool inflatable ball house for just $3 that Austin and I love to play in. We get in and throw all of the balls out. It's fun for us, but sometimes I think it drives mommy a bit batty.

But, most exciting of all, is that I am potty trained! I have Dora panties and everything! I'm doing so good that we were able to go to the Zoo and out to dinner with no accidents, so I don't have to wear diapers except for when I'm sleeping now! And I think I'm almost done with those, I got up to go potty three times the other night!

The other thing I've been doing is taking care of my babies. I've done such a good job that mommy and daddy are letting me take care of Austin too (but he's a lot bigger than my babies!).

I've got to go watch Super Why before school. When you see me, I'll sing you the song okay?

Fun in Kansas City

Grandma and Grandpa rode motorcycle all the way from Minnesota to visit us in Kansas City (it's half way between our house and theres). We have to get up early to go home tomorrow, but here are a few pictures! (I'm supposed to be asleep, so I can only do two or mommy might catch me.)

Guest Post: The Little Brother

I was just reading this morning and noticed that Mommy and Lily hadn't posted anything lately.  They are really busy, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to say "Hi!"  I'm hanging out with Daddy and Lily today, Mommy had to work.  Daddy and Lily have been doing a lot of reading, and I thought I'd take a quick break from trying to find every loose wire in the house to read about doggies.  I hope you're having a wonderful day!

Friday Nights

Friday nights are round, flat food nights at my house. Occasionally we have pizza, but most of the time we have pancakes. Tonight I ate 5. Here's how I burned them off:

Feeding Austin

I love helping out with my brother. I fold his diapers, entertain him, and even feed him. Watch:

Austin likes sitting with me, and even when he's REALLY mad, I can make him smile.  I'm a good sister.

I can do somersaults! Sometimes I land on Austin, he thinks it's funny. Mommy tried to film it, but I wasn't able to hit him when I tried :)

Christmas!

I had a wonderful Christmas. My aunts and uncles and cousins came over on Christmas Eve and we ate a yummy turkey dinner my mommy made. Then they went home and Santa came! Some of my favorite presents were the things for my baby- stroller, bouncy seat, high chair, and all of the new Dora stuff!
